Allrounder Ben Stokes has become the first England player to make a century during the current Ashes series.

Stokes reached his maiden Test ton on the final day of the third Test against Australia at the WACA Ground.

The 22-year-old, playing just his second Test, has already drawn comparisons with legendary England allrounder Andrew Flintoff.

Stokes cracked 16 fours in reaching triple figures.

He also claimed three wickets for the match.
