Leading jockey Steven Parnham may still be deciding on whether to ride Ihtsahymn or Playing God in Saturday week’s Group 1 Kingston Town Classic but punters appear to have made up their minds.
Ihtsahymn has firmed from $7 into $5.50 at Sportingbet and is now a clear third favourite behind Luckygray ($3) and Mr Moet ($4.40).
“Ihtsahymn has been by far the best backed runner this week and has attracted a number of significant four-figure bets,” Sportingbet spokesman Andrew Brown said.
“Punters were clearly impressed with Ihtsahymn’s WA Guineas victory and three-year-olds have an impressive record in the Kingston Town,” Brown said.
Two-time Kingston Town Classic winner Playing God remains solid at $8 with Sportingbet.
