Gary Ablett odds on to win Brownlow Medal 2013 after seasons end

Did sending the Sportsbet Physios to Gold Coast’s warm up session last week result in Gary Ablett dominating over the weekend?

Who knows, but regardless Ablett’s 33 possession and four goal game has seen him firm again for the Brownlow, in from $2.30 to $1.70 with online bookmaker sportsbet.com.au with the home and away session wrapped up.

Having already paid out over $270,000 on Ablett to win the Brownlow weeks ago when he was $1.33, sportsbet.com.au hired some ‘sportsbet physios’ to attend a Gold Coast warm up session to offer Gaz her personal physio team should he have any niggles leading into his final game over the weekend.

Ablett is now better than even money to win his second Brownlow, with his former teammate Joel Selwood drifting from $2.75 to $3.75, Dane Swan holding firm at $10 and Scott Pendlebury making a late charge in from $15 to $10.

“Gaz has had us worried for the last month, but he put in a blinder over the weekend which we are tipping will get him across the line, particularly given Selwood didn’t really dominate,” said sportsbet.com.au’s Shaun Anderson.
