The Tigers surprised their opponents in St. George last week, when snapping a six game losing streak with a 34 – 18 win.

It was a display that signalled some possible light at the end of long 2013 tunnel for the Tigers, especially with the debut of halfback Luke Brooks.

Unfortunately he will not be permitted to play in the final two rounds of this season due to salary cap conditions but he clearly breathed some life into what had previously been a very lacklustre outfit.

It will be interesting to see how they back up last week’s effort with the spark of the young Brooks missing.

Souths have bounced back to good form in the past fortnight registering wins over Manly and last week, Canterbury.

The return to form for the Bunnies coincides with the return of Inglis and Sutton and this week, the Rabbitohs will also welcome back Sam Burgess from a two week suspension.

With the Roosters going down to Cronulla on Monday night, Souths are contenders again for the minor premiership and both sides, Roosters and Souths, face off against each other in what will be a final round block-buster.

They’ll be too good for the Tigers as they were back in round 10 when defeating them 54 – 10.
