P – Europe defeated the United States to retain the Solheim Cup on Sunday, their first win on American soil in the history of the biennial event.
It was also Europe’s second-straight triumph after winning in 2011 in Ireland.
“It’s a fantastic feeling right now,” European captain Liselotte Neumann said. “I’m so proud of them. They played such good golf this week. They just played tremendous golf.”
