Adelaide Crows vs Port Adelaide Power 2013 AFL Round 19 preview and tips

Port claimed their first local Derby in four clashes earlier this year in round 3 (118 – 109).

Sitting in eighth spot on the ladder, one win in front of Carlton, Port will need to ensure they reproduce the effort from earlier this year.

After losses to Essendon and Hawthorn in consecutive weeks, Port has registered narrow and hard fought victories over St. Kilda and last week, Brisbane since.

These games should stand them in good stead as they face their arch enemy here who, whilst it’s been a poor season overall and there chances of making the finals virtually none, would like nothing more to be of a nuisance to Port and interrupt their run to the finals.

The Crows only win in the past month was a beauty, defeating Geelong by two and demonstrating that, on their day, they do posses the ability however, it’s their inconsistency that has been their downfall this year.

As the market suggests, it will be a typically tight affair but with Port desperate to keep their spot in the eight, they should want the win more.
