Panathinaikos have scored three goals in the last 12 minutes to beat Xanthi 3-0 and restore their lead in the Greek league.

Panathinaikos struggled for 78 minutes on Sunday, before Toche finally put the hosts ahead.

Giorgos Karagounis and Antonis Petropoulos followed with two more to take Panathinaikos to 51 points, two ahead of main rival Olympiakos.

Olympiakos had taken the provisional lead on Friday when they beat AEK Athens 2-0.

PAOK remain third on 38 points after winning 2-0 at OFI.
