Scott Dixon and Dario Franchitti have swept the front row for Sunday’s IndyCar race in Toronto.
The Target Chip Ganassi Racing teammates were in opposite groups in Saturday’s qualifying session.
Sctland’s Franchitti took the top spot in the first group and was bumped to second by the New Zealander during the second group outing.
Brazil’s Helio Castroneves qualified third followed by American Ryan Hunter-Reay and Australia’s Will Power.
Power grazed the wall and a banner snagged under his car during his qualifying lap.
It eventually fell off but landed on the nose of Sebastian Bourdais’ car.
At roughly the same time, James Jakes slammed into a tyre barrier as the session came to an interesting end.
The Ganassi drivers, meanwhile, are on a roll after sweeping the podium at Pocono last weekend.
