Preview:
Speaking of the Storm, the Melbourne side take on the Newcastle Knights on Sunday, 3.00pm at AAMI Park. The Storm should win this game easily, with Newcastle in real trouble after losing five of their last six matches. The defending premiers are also keen to reach top of the table, and can’t let a single game slide if they want to pass a Rabbitohs outfit in fine form. The Knights simply don’t have enough fire power to worry what is a very solid Melbourne defence.

After declaring Melbourne have their swagger back, skipper Cameron Smith says he wants to remain a one-club player and reach 300 NRL games with the Storm.
In his 250th NRL match, Smith steered the Storm to a crushing 38-6 win over Cronulla, who had been on a four-game winning streak.
The defending champions kept the Sharks tryless at AAMI Park on Sunday night until the 77th minute while their attack was clinical, posting five tries before halftime.
After two losses followed by a draw then two wins, Smith said the premiers were back on track.
“We’re back playing the way everyone knows the Melbourne Storm can play,” Smith said.
“That’s starting well, being ruthless with our football, putting pressure on opposition teams for the whole 80 minutes.
“That was as close as you get to playing a complete game for us.”
Smith isn’t off contract until the end of the 2014 season but has already been linked with a return to Brisbane with his young family.
But he said making the next milestone – his 300th game – with the Storm would be special.
“There’re not too many blokes who are in that (300) club, particularly for the one organisation.
“That would be pretty special to do that.”
He said the prospect of leaving the Storm, where he started his NRL career back in 2002 and has forged a tight bond with his coach Craig Bellamy and teammates, would be a very tough call.
“When I first started playing, you ask my wife, you ask my family, I always wanted to be a one-club man,” Smith said.
“I’d be extremely lucky to do that but that’s something for the future, for myself and my family to decide on.
“It’s important that I make the right decision but, as far as playing 300 games in one place, that would certainly be high on the list.”
