England have been dismissed for 354 on the third day of the second Test against New Zealand in Leeds.
Resuming at 7-337 on Sunday, England lost their last three wickets for 17 runs in five overs.
Graeme Swann was 26 not out after Joe Root (104) scored his maiden Test century, in what was also his first Test match at his Headingley home ground on Saturday following Friday’s first-day washout.
New Zealand left-arm quick Trent Boult took 5-57 while Tim Southee snared 2-76.
All of Boult’s wickets came in a new-ball spell starting Saturday of five wickets for 24 runs in seven overs.
England lead the two-match series 1-0 after comfortably winning the opening Test at Lord’s by 170 runs.
