Former Qld league boss Ross Livermore dies

Queensland Rugby League is coming to terms with the sudden death of its former chief executive Ross Livermore.

Livermore, one of the most prominent and respected figures in Queensland rugby league, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday morning.

He was 68.

His son Nicholas, who is a director of the Brisbane Bombers consortium vying for an NRL licence, confirmed his father’s death.
