It is easy to pile on the plight of Southampton, but they did alright against Liverpool last weekend.

Sure, they didn’t win but they scored two goals, which is a quarter of Liverpool’s total goals conceded this season, and they only lost by one.

Brighton on the other hand is starting to find some good form in their last two outings, defeating City before going on the road and winning at Bournemouth last weekend.

One big issue they have however is keeping a clean sheet, with both teams to score hitting in nine of their last ten games in all competitions.

The Seagulls are the better team and are worth backing to win, but the Saints should be able to breach that defence at least once.
