Brisbane were backed up their win over Sydney FC with a poor performance against Wellington where they were caught out several times in a 5-2 loss.

However they have a great chance to provide an instant response against a Mariners side that they have strong history against and are currently struggling quite badly.

This is a poor spot for the Central Coast, currently stuck on the foot of the A-League ladder and backing up from a midweek AFC Cup trip to Bali, it’s tough to see how they pull themselves out of their funk anytime soon.

Perhaps the upcoming international break might allow them to right the ship but for the time being, I’m happy to take them on.
