Race 1 – 1:45pm – Ranvet Plate (1100m)

There’s virtually no form to study ahead of the first at Warwick Farm on Wednesday and at publish, several debutants are prominent in betting.

I am happy to stay out of this one.

Race 2 – 2:20pm – Maiden Plate (1300m)

Naval Seal can break his maiden at Warwick Farm on Wednesday.

The well-bred gelding returned some promising performances at the trials prior to debuting, and he raced home well to only just miss at Newcastle earlier this month.

He’ll enjoy plenty of improvement for that experience and can fight out the finish again.

Race 3 – 2:55pm – I Am Invincible @ Yarraman Park Plate (1100m)

Latin Lyric’s fitness edge could play a key role in her chances of winning at Warwick Farm this week.

The Wandjina mare raced home well to finish in maiden company at Newcastle when resuming, and she has continued to improve with each start back, only just missing at her last two appearances.

She steps out this week in peak order and should receive every chance once more.

Race 4 – 3:30pm – The Macarthur Club Handicap (2400m)

Forever You has returned some lovely performances since debuting, and she strikes another winnable contest at Warwick Farm on Wednesday.

The Galileo mare broke her maiden in Class 1 company at Kembla Grange in January and franked that performance with another lovely win at Newcastle.

She returned from a freshen up to finish fourth in Saturday BM78 company at Rosehill, and will take improvement into this seemingly easier race.

Race 5 – 4:05pm – The Agency Handicap (1400m)

Straight Arron returned from a brief let-up at Warwick Farm on Wednesday, and he can record another win.

The Fastnet Rock gelding has only made one appearance at the races so far, but he mustered an eye-catching performance and turned to foot to score at Ladbrokes Park.

He’s been back to the trials since that effort and he has options this week under James McDonald.

Race 6 – 4:40pm – Vinery Yearlings Handicap (1600m)

Welsh Legend resumes in Race 6 at Warwick Farm on Wednesday, and it looks a lovely launchpad for her.

The Camelot mare has been a good horse for the Waller stable throughout her career, and these midweek races in town have largely been her bread and butter.

She’s had the benefit of a couple of trials in the lead-up to her return, and we can have an each-way play at the price.

Race 7 – 5:15pm – Frosted @ Darley Handicap (1000m)

He clearly needed the run when he failed to find in a tougher race at Randwick when resuming, but I’m confident that Dragonstone will enjoy plenty of improvement for the hit-out, and dropping in class at Warwick Farm this week.

The three-year-old son of Mikki Isle was a strong and consistent performer last year, recording three wins and as many minors from his six starts.

He was beaten by some good ones, including Mazu in the Listed Fireball Stakes earlier this month, and the form of that of race has since been franked.

Dragonstone gets some relief in the weights this week under Tyler Schiller and is drawn to receive every chance.

Race 8 – 5:50pm – Hyland Race Colours Handicap (1200m)

This certainly isn’t the easiest way to end the day from a betting perspective, but I am going to have something on the second-up Derbari.

Derbari doesn’t win out of turn, but he also rarely runs a bad race, and he found form around some talented gallopers last time in.

I thought that his first run back this time was sound, and he’s another who’ll take plenty of improvement for it.
