The Storm is now the best backed side with TAB to win the NRL with a breakaway group of title contenders developing after just two rounds of the season.
Only three sides are at single figure odds with Penrith ($4), Melbourne ($5) and the Roosters ($6.50) already clear of the likes of Parramatta ($10), Manly ($13) and Souths ($15), who all drifted in price over the weekend.
The Storm hold 21 per cent of TAB’s Premiership market after overtaking the Roosters who have 20 per cent. The Eels (18%) are the next best supported side from Manly (12%) and Penrith (10%).
