Star New Zealand jockey Opie Bosson has given Melody Belle the thumbs-up for the All-Star Mile after an early morning gallop at Caulfield.

Bosson made a special trip to Melbourne ahead of the $5 million All Star Mile on Saturday to give Melody Belle her final work-out.

The jockey said Melody Belle had improved on her first-up run in the Futurity Stakes at Caulfield and was spot-on for Saturday’s assignment.

The mare finished third in the Futurity behind Streets Of Avalon and Super Seth on February 22 at Caulfield.
