Preview:
This is sure to be a highly entertaining game to kick off Round 5 as both sides are playing some very entertaining football.
In their four AFLW games, the Gold Coast Suns have lived up to their “Never say Die” attitude keeping North Melbourne at bay in an arm-wrestle at Arden Street going down by 13 points but they didn’t lose any fans in the process.
The Suns have been playing a fierce attacking, high-pressure style of play throughout their inaugural season and have proven to be no easy beat (unlike the clubs men’s team)
Geelong goes into this clash with a solid 22 point win over Richmond in Bendigo last weekend.
In what was a high-scoring game for both sides, the Cats six-goal second quarter proved to be what sealed the deal for their first win of the season.
The Cats final score of 10-7 (67) was their highest ever AFLW score and had really lay their issues of being able to impact on the scoreboard to rest.
So far in AFLW betting, backing the Suns at the line has so far been four out of four and the bookies have them as favorites going into this match in Mackay.
However, with the Cats finally able to get some scores on the board they’ll have a heap of confidence going into this match and can pull-off a solid win on the road this Friday night.
