Preview:

While many had written off Brisbane, they currently sit top of the group A ladder with two wins and a thrilling draw last weekend against cross-town rival the Gold Coast Suns.

Brisbane has established themselves as a fast-finishing team this season however, after leading by 15 points at the main break managed to score only one behind as the Suns defense kept them at bay.

Most of the football was in Brisbane’s 50 in the last quarter but the Lions just couldn’t convert with the game resulting in a Draw.

They will need to return to their fast finishing ways we saw in the first two weeks of the competition if they are going to get the job done over GWS.

The Giants did it easy over West Coast last weekend, keeping them scoreless until the final quarter with the likes of Alyce Parker, Bec Privitelli and Jacinda Barclay being amongst their best in their 28 point win.

Both the Lions and Giants play a very similar fast finishing and fast ball movement style of football and you should expect this one to go down to the wire.

Tip wise – it’s best to play it safe and back the Lions to get the job done. Just.
