Talks with legal representatives will determine whether Brisbane fight charges levelled at stars Josh Hoffman and Ben Te’o at the NRL judiciary.
Already battling a string of injuries – the latest to State of Origin stars Justin Hodges and Corey Parker – Brisbane have to decide whether to push their luck on Wednesday night at the judiciary.
Young fullback Hoffman will be suspended for two weeks if he contests a dangerous contact charge and loses, while Te’o – who has carryover points – is looking at one week on the sidelines after being charged with a grade-two careless high tackle on Gold Coast prop Luke Bailey from the same game against the Titans.
The club said it would make a decision on behalf of both players after meeting its legal representative on Tuesday morning.
Coach Anthony Griffin, meanwhile, will have a tough time naming his 17-man squad to play Parramatta on Monday night with Parker (medial ligament strain) in doubt and Hodges (high ankle sprain) facing two or three more weeks on the sidelines.
Brisbane dropped out of the top four at the weekend after losing to Gold Coast and with North Queensland beating Wests Tigers on Monday night.
