AFL’s Fahour to plead guilty to strike

AFL diversity manager Ali Fahour will plead guilty to a serious offence after he was red-carded out of a local football match on Saturday for striking an opponent.

The league’s head of multicultural and indigenous programs will front the Northern Football League tribunal on Wednesday and faces a lengthy suspension.

It comes a week after the brother of Australia Post boss Ahmed Fahour gave a character reference to Richmond defender Bachar Houli in his AFL tribunal case.
