Gold Coast’s worst fears have been confirmed with Ryan Simpkins ruled out for the rest of the NRL season and Dan Sarginson in serious doubt.
Forward Simpkins and utility back Sarginson were both injured in last week’s upset win over Melbourne.
Simpkins has a ruptured ACL while Sarginson is likely to require surgery on his dislocated shoulder which will rub him out of his debut season.
