Coach Paul Green is being coy about Johnathan Thurston’s availability after the star playmaker travelled with his North Queensland squad ahead of Thursday night’s NRL clash with Cronulla.

Green said Thurston travelled to Sydney to film a TV commercial but he would still consider the Test half for the Sharks clash if he recovered from his shoulder complaint suffered in the recent trans-Tasman Test.

“He is improving. Whether or not he improves enough we will wait and see,” Green said.
