Hurricanes coach Mark Hammett has rewarded the high-scoring line-up that ran rings around the Rebels last week with a start in Sunday’s Super Rugby match against the Waratahs in Sydney.
The Hurricanes scored nine tries in downing the Rebels 66-24 last week, and Hammett has opted to field an unchanged run-on team for the Hurricanes’ last match before the June break.
The two teams haven’t met since 2010, when the Waratahs won 32-16.
The Hurricanes have a non-competition match against the Reds scheduled for June 15 in the mid-season break before they resume against the Crusaders in Christchurch on June 30.
