Adelaide will be without in-form key forward Taylor Walker for their AFL clashes with Carlton and Collingwood, after he accepted a two-game ban.
Walker, the competition’s leading goalscorer this season, has pleaded guilty to a rough conduct charge rather than risk a three-game suspension by visiting the tribunal.
The charge involved a sling tackle the 22-year-old Crow laid on Geelong’s Harry Taylor during Adelaide’s big win at AAMI Stadium on Saturday.
Geelong’s Joel Corey will pay a $900 fine for giving the finger to an umpire.
The two players’ early guilty pleas means there will be no tribunal hearing on Tuesday night.
