Coolmore Classic 2017: Market says there could be a Twist

Danish Twist

Punters are keen to back a runner at odds when it comes to the Coolmore Classic (1500m) at Rosehill this Saturday.

The Coolmore has no real standout once again this year and punters are unsure as to which filly or mare will salute. The favourite at this stage is star three year old filly Omei Sword at $3.70 after as much as $5.50 was offered all in at the start of the week. She holds sway despite drawing poorly.

Next best in betting is the brilliant mare Dixie Blossoms, who comes here off the back of a somewhat of a barrier trial win in the Guy Walter. She opened $7 and has firmed to $6. The only other runner under $10 is Global Glamour. The Thousand Guineas winner is at $9.

The early money however has come for Danish Twist at big odds which has seen her firm from $21 into her current quote of $16 and likely to start shorter.
