Davis Cup captain Lleyton Hewitt has expressed his disappointment and frustration at Bernard Tomic’s withdrawal from next week’s tie against the Czech Republic.

Hewitt said Tomic had told him he would not be available due to scheduling issues, with the skipper adding he won’t beg players to play for their country.

Nick Kyrgios will take his place in the team, with Hewitt confident the fiery 21-year-old is keen to take the opportunity to kick-start his season after his early exit from the Australian Open.
