Robbie Farah has been cleared to play in the State of Origin series-opener after getting a second set of brain scans on Wednesday.
The Wests Tigers hooker copped a brutal head knock in last Sunday’s NRL loss to Canterbury, and while he was initially given the green light in post-game scans, went for follow-up MRI scans at Westmead Hospital mid-week.
Tigers coach Jason Taylor confirmed on Friday that Farah will miss Saturday’s clash with Newcastle but should be right for NSW’s clash against Queensland on June 1.
