News:
Australian sprinter Chautauqua will not try to add the Diamond Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot to his Group One win in Hong Kong.
Co-trainer Michael Hawkes said the decision not to go to England had been made in the best interests of the horse who claimed a breathtaking last-to-first win in Sunday’s Chairman’s Sprint Prize at Sha Tin.
“This morning we have made the decision that in best interest of Chautauqua that he WILL NOT be travelling to @RoyalAscot,” Hawkes tweeted.
