Victoria Derby runner-up Etymology headlines nominations for the VRC St Leger at Flemington.
Etymology finished fifth in the Group One ATC Australian Derby at Randwick at his most recent start and is among 15 nominations for the St Leger at Flemington on Monday.
The son of New Approach was second to Tarzino in the Victoria Derby at Flemington last spring.
The Lee and Anthony Freedman-trained Cool Chap, runner-up to Charlevoix in the Galilee Series Final last start, is also in the entries.
Nominations have also been taken for the Listed Anzac Day Stakes for two-year-olds.
Godolphin trainer John O’Shea also has last-start Sandown winner Pyx Chamber nominated for the Anzac Day Stakes which has attracted 18 nominations.
