Bernard Tomic’s problematic wrist has forced him out of the third round at Indian Wells.
The Australian tennis star was trailing Canada’s Milos Raonic 6-2 3-0 when he retired with the injury, having already been broken four times in the match.
Tomic’s wrist had been the central source of his frustration during Australia’s recent Davis Cup loss to the United States, where he infamously suggested Nick Kyrgios was faking a virus in order to avoid playing the tie.
