Third seed Milos Raonic is through to the Brisbane International tennis quarter-finals after blasting past Kazakhstan’s Mikhail Kukushkin.
The big-serving Canadian thundered down 17 aces and never faced a break point on Thursday on his way to a 6-3 6-4 second-round triumph.
Former Wimbledon semi-finalist Raonic came out swinging in his first match of the year after receiving a first-round bye.
The 24-year-old – who also made the French Open quarter-finals in a breakthrough 2014 – plays the winner of the second-round clash between Australia’s Sam Groth and Polish qualifier Lukasz Kubot.
