Rain stops Sydney International tennis

Rain has momentarily stopped play at the Sydney International tennis tournament at Homebush.

Former Wimbledon finalist Grigor Dimitrov had just lost the first set to Ukrainian Alexandr Dolgopolov 6-4 in their quarter-final match-up when an ominous storm began to hover over the Olympic venue.

Top Australian male Bernard Tomic is due to play Russian Teymuraz Gabashvili later on Thursday night on Ken Rosewall Arena.
