Play resumes at Sydney International

Play has resumed at the Sydney International with a heavy storm passing over the Olympic venue.

Ukrainian Alexandr Dolgopolov had just taken the first set against former Wimbledon semi-finalist Grigor Dimitrov 6-4 in their quarter-final when torrential rain delayed play for almost 90 minutes.

All scheduled matches are expected to be completed, including Australian men’s No.1 Bernard Tomic’s quarter-final against Teymuraz Gabashvili on Thursday night on Ken Rosewall arena.
