Nick Kyrgios has beaten Uruguayan Pablo Cuevas in straight sets to reach the third round of the Australian Open at Melbourne Park.
Australia’s 29th seed took out Cuevas 6-4 7-5 7-6 (7-2) in one hour and 58 minutes at Hisense Arena on Wednesday night.
Kyrgios next plays Czech sixth seed Tomas Berdych on Friday for a place in the last 16.
