Kyrgios’ brother’s ATP pass revoked

The brother of controversial tennis star Nick Kyrgios has had his ATP credentials revoked and was denied entry to Kyrgios’ first-round loss to Richard Gasquet in the Cincinnati Masters on Tuesday.

Christos Kyrgios was forced to buy a ticket to watch his brother labour to a straight-sets loss to the Frenchman, going down 6-2 6-1 in less than an hour.

According to Fairfax Media, the ATP told Christos his credentials would be revoked as a result of his comments made about Croatian tennis player Donna Vekic and Swiss star Stan Wawrinka.

Nick was sanctioned by the ATP after a verbal dust-up with Wawrinka at the Montreal Masters, where he infamously said Thanasi Kokkinakis “banged your girlfriend”.
