West Brom are without debutant Giorgios Samaras as he is not yet fully match fit, with the former Celtic forward expected to travel with Greece during the international break and get some valuable game time. Joleon Lescott and Silvestre Varela will also miss today’s game, while Pocognoli is unlikely to feature due to problems with his groin.

Swansea look like the form team today as they go in search of their third win of the new season with Albion only managing to draws, one against Southampton and the other against Sunderland. However the last time these two sides met, Albion run out 2-1 winners after their meeting at the Liberty Stadium last March.
