Socceroos, Australia vs Spain live teams, squad, scores and results

The Socceroos will go into their last World Cup match with nothing to play for but everything to win as they try and secure some much deserving points from the competition in which they have played so well. View our live countdown to the match including up to date squad information and scores whilst the game starts.

The Socceroos will go into the match without their superstar Tim Cahill who picked up yellow cards in the first two matches. It will be interesting to see how the team reacts with the team basing their play almost solely around the five time world cup scorer.

PREDICTION

Despite the fact that the match is effectively meaningless, both teams will want to bow out with some semblance of dignity. Australia will look to disrupt Spain’s rhythmic passing game like Chile and the Netherlands before them and will fancy their chances against the disgraced Spaniards.

Spain 1 – 2 Australia
