Montpellier edges Bordeaux 1-0 in French l

Montpellier have edged Bordeaux 1-0 to take the provisional lead in the French league and put pressure on Paris Saint-Germain.

Berigaud doubled the lead two minutes later with a curling shot from the edge of the box.

On Sunday, Rennes host defending champion Lille, Marseille face Brest and Toulouse play Sochaux.
