Adelaide v Melbourne Victory is always a fixture to look forward to, there’s so much history between these two clubs and I expect this game to provide more of the same.

Both sides are without a win so the stakes are high.

The defending champs haven’t had the best of starts to the season but let’s not forget they were dead last after eight rounds last season and went on to win the championship.

There were some good signs in their loss to the Wanderers but they again failed to capitalise on good opportunities.

Guardiola looks like he’ll be a great addition up front and his hold up play has been impressive.

Reds star Sergio Cirio is under an injury cloud after sustaining a right knee injury in the Wanderers loss.

Adelaide are already missing Marcelo Carrusca and are also quite thin on the bench so they cannot afford any more absentees.

Victory have to pick themselves up after a thrashing to City in the Melbourne Derby.

In a positive for Kevin Muscat’s side, Marco Rojas (pictured above) scored his first goal of the season and he’s a player who could help get the Victory back on track.

With Besart Berisha, Mitch Austin and Rojas up front, Victory have a potent strike force and will need to be in form for this one.

I’m expecting another entertaining game with the game finishing all square
