NSW Waratahs coach Daryl Gibson is hoping Kurtley Beale chooses stability and lifestyle over money as the Wallabies ace weighs up his playing future.
Gibson admits the Waratahs – and presumably the Australian Rugby Union too – can’t compete with Beale’s reported $1.35 million a season offer from English club Wasps.
But in the prime of a career littered with off-field controversies, Beale has turned his life around at the Waratahs, leaving Gibson believing the 60-Test playmaker may yet remain in Sydney.
