Wallabies forward Scott Higginbotham has been cited twice over his confrontation with All Blacks skipper Richie McCaw in Saturday night’s 18-18 draw in Brisbane.

Higginbotham was cited for `punching or striking’ McCaw with both incidents coming in the 26th minute of the tryless match, the Australian Rugby Union said on Sunday.

An initial hearing will be conducted by duty judicial officer Jannie Lubbe on Monday via a conference call with a time for the hearing yet to be confirmed.
