Former team manager Phil Thomson will take the reins as interim chief executive at the Brumbies Super Rugby franchise.
Thomson, currently the integrity manager of the Australian Rugby Union, will serve in the role until a replacement for Michael Jones is found.
Jones left the Super Rugby club last Monday after reaching a confidential settlement following weeks of in-fighting and courtroom drama.
