Nadolo leaving Crusaders for French club

Blockbusting Crusaders winger Nemani Nadolo will take up a three-year contract with French club Montpellier following the 2016 Super Rugby season.

Nadolo, 27, confirmed his third season with the Crusaders will be his last, having made an impact with his powerful running and scoring 22 tries in 27 appearances.

He says it was too hard to turn down the chance to play a second stint in France following two seasons with Bourgoin in the 2010-11 season.

“But I still have a season to go here first and I intend to make my last season with the Crusaders a great one and leave on a high note,” Nadolo said.

“I have learned so much here and really developed my game. So making the decision to leave a team that has given me that opportunity and shown such faith in me was definitely not easy.”

The well-travelled Nadolo has also played in Australia, England and Japan.

He represented Australia at under-20 level and has scored 192 points in 23 Tests for Fiji.
