Moore out as Brumbies make several changes

Brumbies co-captain Stephen Moore has been ruled out of Saturday’s Super Rugby clash against the Highlanders in New Zealand with a calf injury.

Moore was not named in the side on Thursday, having suffered a cork to his calf muscle in last Sunday’s 40-14 loss to the Crusaders at GIO Stadium.

He’s been replaced by Josh Mann-Rea at hooker, one of several changes to last week’s team including star flanker David Pocock who returns from suspension.

Brumbies: Aidan Toua, Nigel Ah Wong, Tevita Kuridrani, Matt Toomua, Robbie Coleman, Christian Lealiifano (c), Tomas Cubelli, Jarrad Butler, David Pocock, Scott Fardy, Sam Carter, Tom Staniforth, Ruan Smith, Josh Mann-Rea, Allan Alaalatoa. Reserves: Robbie Abel, Scott Sio, Leslie Leulua’iali’i-Makin, Rory Arnold, Blake Enever, Jordan Smiler, Joe Powell, James Dargaville.
