Kane Douglas says he is relieved to have overcome his injury woes and is hopeful of making a quick impact for Australia and the Queensland Reds.

Douglas played his first match since injuring his ACL in last year’s World Cup final, coming off the bench and showing some good touches in the Reds’ loss to the Brumbies in Canberra on Friday night.

“It does get a bit frustrating when you can’t help your mates out. It’s just good to be back,” Douglas said on Tuesday.
