Brumbies unchanged for Rebels Super battle

The Australian conference-leading Brumbies will field the same side who beat the Bulls last week when they face Super Rugby rivals the Melbourne Rebels.

Coach Stephen Larkham hasn’t made a single change to his squad of 23, with Wallabies Scott Sio, Stephen Moore and Ben Alexander keeping their starting spots in the front row and Robbie Coleman at inside centre in place of the injured Matt Toomua (knee).

Friday’s clash at AAMI Park will go a long way in determining the look of the local ladder, as the two sides battle with the NSW Waratahs for the country’s sole guaranteed finals berth.

Brumbies: Aidan Toua, Nigel Ah Wong, Tevita Kuridrani, Robbie Coleman, James Dargaville, Christian Lealiifano (co-capt), Tomas Cubelli, Jarrad Butler, David Pocock, Scott Fardy, Sam Carter, Rory Arnold, Ben Alexander, Stephen Moore (co-capt), Scott Sio. Res: Josh Mann-Rea, Allan Alaalatoa, Ruan Smith, Tom Staniforth, Blake Enever, Jordan Smiler, Joe Powell, Lausii Taliauli.
