Hull KR’s Australian prop Michael Weyman has been handed a second two-match ban in his first season in the Super League.
The 29-year-old former St George Illawarra forward, who was banned for a dangerous tackle earlier this year, was found guilty of using foul and abusive language to referee Tim Roby during Rovers’ 54-12 defeat at Castleford on Sunday.
Weyman, who was sent off for the offence and subsequently charged by the Rugby Football League’s match-review panel, was given a STG300 ($A547.60) fine as well as a two-match ban when he appeared in front of an RFL disciplinary tribunal in Leeds.
