Gold Coast co-captain Nathan Friend will retire at the end of the current NRL season.
The 35-year-old, who returned to the Titans at the end of last year after three years with the Warriors, has played over 230 NRL games in a 14-year career.
“Thanks to everyone that has had a hand in my career. I’m forever grateful for the support and guidance I’ve received,” Friend said on his Instagram account as he confirmed his retirement plans.
