James Segeyaro may be on his way to the Super League but Penrith teammate Jamie Soward looks set for an NRL return this weekend.

Both players have been out of favour in recent weeks at the Panthers, but while there are reports linking Segeyaro to Leeds, Soward’s banishment from the top grade is almost over, with halfback Peter Wallace revealing the team have been preparing as though he will be facing South Sydney on Friday night.

“I think things will just depend on how the boys pull up from Origin, what team takes the field, but we’ve been preparing all week as if Jamie will be playing so you never know,” said Wallace, who will make his 200th NRL appearance in the match.
