Roosters re-sign Napa

Sydney Roosters prop Dylan Napa has re-signed for two years, keeping him at the club until at least the end of the 2017 NRL season.

The 22-year-old, who has been tipped as a future Queensland State of Origin player, becomes the second Roosters front-rower to re-sign in a week after Jared Waerea-Hargreaves extended his stay for a further two years.

“I am so happy to know that I’ll continue to be a part of the Roosters family for another two seasons,” said Napa in a club statement on Sunday.

“I have real trust in Robbo (coach Trent Robinson) and the coaches and the players. We’re a tight bunch and I’m learning so much.”

Napa made his NRL debut with the Roosters against Canterbury in 2013 and represented the Prime Ministers XIII against Papua New Guinea last year and played three Tests for the Cook Islands at the Rugby League World Cup two years ago.
